VIOLA D. OBERMOLLER, age 89, of Worthington, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. She was born in Worthington on March 4, 1925, to parents, Herman and Dora (Guthardt) Peters. She graduated from Worthington High School. After graduating she worked for Rickbeil's Hardware in Worthington.
On December 11, 1943, she married Earl Obermoller. After their marriage the couple lived in Brewster and than Dundee where together than ran a service, drove a school bus and repaired TV's and radios. Later years they lived in Jackson and Worthington.
Viola enjoyed refinishing furniture, dancing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years Earl Obermoller, son, James (Penny) Obermoller, two granddaughters, Ivy Newman and Amber (Elimelech) Montalvo, two great-grandchildren, Jasmine Enans and Mitchell Newman, sister, Marie Rose and brother, Hans (Mavis) Peters.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Gertrude and Ann and brothers, Burrell and Bill.
