Virgil J. Ripperger

   Virgil J. Ripperger, age 95, of Adrian, died Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington. He was born August 31st 1930, in Adrian to Clem and Rosa Ripperger. He received his education at St. Adrian schools. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 in the military police in Germany. 

   On August 13th 1955, he married Doree Broesder. They moved to Adrian in 1960 and resided in the same home until his death. 

   He was employed at Nelson Lumber Yard in Adrian from 1960 to 1970. He was then employed by Highland Manufacturing in Worthington for 28 years. 

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Rosa; his wife, Doree; his sister, Marie Austin; his brother, Louis Ripperger; and his niece, Rose (Ripperger) Engstrom. 

   The burial service will be at 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 5th, at the Adrian Cemetery in Adrian, MN
