WAYNE HENRY HENNING, age 82, of Brewster, died Sunday, April 18th, at the Good Shephard Health Center in Mason City, IA. He was born August 31st, 1938, in Jackson County, MN to Henry and Minnie (Radmacher) Henning. Wayne was confirmed and a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. After graduating from Okabena High School he was later drafted into the US Army, where he served in Germany, after being honorably discharged, he began a lifelong career of farming. Wayne married Marilyn Dadisman on July 20th, 1973. After their marriage, the couple lived on his childhood farm in rural Brewster. They had two children, Ann, and Harold. Wayne was a member of the Okabena American Legion, St. Paul Lutheran Church. Wayne enjoyed farming with his brother, Larry. He raised livestock early in his farming career. Wayne enjoyed helping his kids with their 4H and FFA livestock projects. He was always raising various vegetables in their garden, as well as many fruit trees around their acreage. Wayne looked forward to the Annual spring trips to Decorah, IA with Marilyn to purchase seeds and products for their garden. He was always looking forward to spending time with his family during the holidays and spoiling the grandkids. Wayne had a heart of giving that was bigger than the world, as he was not afraid to help others, by sharing his advice, or giving something to someone. Wayne is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Dadisman) Henning; two children, Ann (Mark) Heggestad, Joice, IA; and Harold (Heather) Henning, Waterloo, IA; brother, Larry (Rosemary) Henning, Brewster, MN; sister, Karen (Daryl) Peters, Bloomfield, NE; five grandchildren, Sarah Heggestad; Lloyd Heggestad; Kathryn Henning; Elizabeth Henning; and Noah Henning. Several nieces and nephews. Wayne was proceeded in death by his parents Henry and Minnie Henning, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and nephew Jon Peters.
