Obituary

WILLIAM ?BILL? P. HINEY, age 65, of Luverne, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at his home. He was born October 31, 1944, in Windom, to William Sr. and Pearl (Sogge) Hiney. He graduated from Valley Springs High School in 1962. Bill owned and operated the snack bar at the bus depot and also Buffalo Bills at the Sioux Empire Fair, in Sioux Falls, SD, for many years. In 1994, he moved to Luverne and worked at Herman Motors for many years before his retirement a year and a half ago. He devoted the last forty five years to his autistic son, Terry. Bill is survived by his brother, Richard (Lorraine) Hiney, Sioux Falls, SD; two sisters, Janice (Wayne) Ward, Hills; and Marie & Darrell Brown, Hills; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private committal of remains will be at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
