WILLIAM GEORGE ROEMELING, age 82, of Ohatchee, AL, formerly of Adrian, died Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center in Anniston, AL. He was born in Adrian, MN., the son of Cyrus and Ruby (Carrie) Roemeling. William received his education and graduated from Adrian High School. He entered the United States Air Force on August 8, 1959 and received his training at Stewart Air Force Base in Newburgh, New York. On August 16, 1963 Bill was released from service with an Honorable Discharge and Good Conduct Medal. After returning from service Bill started working for Bolte's Sanitation in Sioux Falls, SD. and eventually started his own service, Bill's Sanitation for many years. Bill retired and moved to Ohatchee, Al. where he met his future wife, Sadie. Bill and Sadie were married June 17, 2000. Bill is survived by his wife, Sadie: sons; Kermit (Lori) Roemeling, Sioux Falls; Dallas (Sarah) Roemeling, Portland, OR.; daughter, Denise Roemeling, Sioux Falls, SD., grandsons, Oliver Miller and Kurt Reichlt , 2 step-daughters, Sheila Everhart and LaDonna Murhpee. Brothers, Robert (Marlene) Greve, Curt (Diane) Roemeling; sisters, Charleen Feekes,Sandra Buss, Rhonda (Ken) Archer, Rebecca (Bruce) Nuwash, Dawn (Rich) Chance, Kris (Joe) Curtis. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Douglas, Ronald, Butch, 4 sisters, Betty Lou, Gloria, Frances and Darlene.

A private family graveside service with full military honors provided by the Adrian American Legion, will be in the Adrian Cemetery.

Dingmann Funeral Home, in Adrian, is assisting the family with arrangements.
