XUANG V. THONG, age 82, of Worthington, died Friday, January 27, 2012, at the South Shore Care Center in Worthington.
He was born July 2, 1928, in North Vietnam, to Thoi and Sam Thong. Xuang married Lone Lo. In 1984, they moved to Orange City, IA. In 1988, they moved to Worthington. He was a member of the Lao Christian Reformed Church in Worthington.
Xuang is survived by his wife, Lone Thong, Worthington; three sons, Noi Thongvanh, Mountain Lake; Souane Thongvanh, Worthington; and Khing Thongvanh, Worthington; two daughters, Manivanh Lovan, Worthington; and Ny Sacakanom, Des Moines, IA; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
