AUDREY BERNICE LING, age 98, of Worthington, died Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at the Ecumen Meadows Assisted Living in Worthington. She was born April 9, 1921, in Worthington, to Orrie and Alice (Riss) Kingery. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1938. Audrey married Robert Ling on November 30, 1940, at the First United Methodist Church in Worthington. The couple farmed southwest of Worthington before retiring and moving into Worthington in 1986. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Worthington; a 4-H Leader; a Red Cross Volunteer; and a member of the Okabena Extension Club. Audrey is survived by her two sons, Barry Ling, Anthem, AZ; and David (Marilyn) Ling, Naples, FL; two daughters, Carolyn (Henry) Dykstra, Archer, IA; and Pamela (Marvin) Henning, Blaine, MN; eleven grandchildren; and twenty six great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; seven step great great-grandchildren; and a brother, Matt (Ruth) Kingery, Sioux City, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert on November 29, 1999; three grandchildren, David & Dennis Dykstra; and Katie Wagner; four great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Betty Ling; a brother, Doyle Kingery; and three sisters, M. June Herman, Lorraine Krohn and Delores Hagberg. A private family graveside service will be at the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
A memorial service will be 11 am Saturday, July 18, at the First United Methodist Church, in Worthington, with a time of fellowship one hour prior to the service.
