Dora Jacobs Obituary

   Dora Alice Jacobs was born on February 10, 1932 and passed away on November 24, 2022 at Crossroads Care Center.   She was raised on a farm east of Rushmore.  She graduated from Worthington High School in 1949.  Dora moved to Worthington with her parents and sister when her parents retired from farming.

   She was a loving daughter, sister, and an aunt to seven nieces and nephews often bringing them on fun adventures.   Dora loved to travel.  She worked at various businesses in Worthington until she retired.  Dora was a member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, south of Rushmore.

   Dora is survived by her nieces and nephews, Norma Cook, Vonnie Reff (Ray Wottrich), Lois (Jerry) Reuter, Dennis (Jane) Jacobs, Janelle (Duane) Bryngelson,  Alan (Deanna) Engelkes, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

   Dora was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Hilda Jacobs, brother Albert (Lorraine) Jacobs, sister Darlene (Harry) Engelkes,  sister Gertie Jacobs, niece Colleen Valente, nephew-in-law Charles Cook, and great-niece Cathy McMahon.

   Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel First United Presbyterian Church, 31828 Jones Avenue, Rushmore, MN; officiated by Pastor Galen Smith.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
