JASON KING, age 55, of Luverne, formerly of Minneapolis, was found passed away at his home on April 13, 2020. Jason was born in Minneapolis, MN December 12, 1964, to Rodney and Rae Jean King. He graduated from Centennial High School in Minneapolis in 1983.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school and was very honored to serve his country. After his tour in the army he became a proud father to his daughter Danielle Winterton. He worked at a few places doing maintenance with his latest and longest employer Pikorn Environmental. Unfortunately the last few years of his life were a never ending battle. He had cancer and beat it, but the effects on his body from the treatment left him with many complications.
Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Jason was blessed with knowing a kind loving person. He would do anything for anyone. He loved the outdoors and loved animals and nature. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He will be missed greatly.
Jason is survived by his daughter and son in law, Danielle and Jeremy Winterton; mother, Rae Jean King; two sisters, Jackie King and Andrea Lee.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Luverne, is assisting the family with arrangements.
