Lonnie Lynn Anderson

     LONNIE LYNN ANDERSON, age 57, of Jackson, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.  Lonnie was born August 1, 1964, in Worthington, to Marvin and Barbara (Sachen) Anderson.
   Lonnie grew up in Worthington and graduated from the Worthington High School. He worked at Monfort Pork Processing Plant  in Worthington where he met his life partner, Hope Cornelius. The couple later moved to their acreage near Jackson, MN and has lived there since 1993.
   Lonnie was a handyman to say the least. Aside of working at the Flower Market in Jackson, he had a mind for mechanics which allowed him to work on junked cars and miscellaneous jobs around the farm. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman who was always there to help in any way he could. 
   Lonnie is survived by his life partner, Hope, Jackson, MN; son, Dustin (Sarah) Menssen, Lakefield, MN; daughter, Shawna Sanchez, Spencer, IA; eight grandchildren, Carmella, Sam, Esperanza, Izaiha, Julissa, Layten, Addisyn, and Damien ~who was raised and cared for by Lonnie and Hope~ ; mother, Barbara, Jackson, MN; siblings, Les (Keeley) Anderson, Alden; Lori (John) Schaffer, Heron Lake; Larry (Angela) Anderson, of Worthington; and many nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin in 2015; and his Grandparents.

   Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington. Funeral will be 10:30 am Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Galen Smith. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville, IA.
