MARK DALE MIDDAGH, age 64, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at his home in Worthington. He was born March 17, 1958, in Worthington, to Dale and Thelma (Stach) Middagh.
Mark graduated from Worthington High School before marrying Kim Bramstedt in Jackson, MN on March 1, 1980.
“Just be happy” and “Just be nice” were a couple of phrases he lived by, and Mark was a great example of what it meant to be truly humble. He rarely relaxed, as he took long walks in the morning and evening to, “Check the perimeter of the property.” And had bon fires in the front yard (no matter the weather), or showing off his handyman skills while tinkering with things that most would think was garbage. Mark loved to work on tractors. Mark started when he was in high school and worked for Strom Power and Equipment. Mark worked for many implement dealers in and around Worthington. After all the years he worked for other dealerships he decided to go out on his own and see if he could make it work. In 1990 we opened Mark’s Equipment Repair and never looked back. He was always ready and never said no to a good challenge. Once I heard him say maybe he should go to work somewhere else and I told him you can’t work a regular job, they won’t let you go for a motorcycle ride in the middle of your shift and they are never going to let you take a 2 hour lunch break. He did have help - his dogs Smokey and Bart and the latest was a cat he took in and made BOB his shop cat. He said Bob listened and would take his coffee break and never complain.
Mark enjoyed life. He loved spreading time with the kids but really enjoyed spending time with the grandkids. He was a real soft and gentle person - always up for a good laugh. Enjoyed his Saturday morning breakfast at Blueline with his crew. Several times a week he and Roxann would do lunch at Blueline.
Mark is Survived by his wife, Kim (Bramstedt) Middagh, Worthington; son, Adam Middagh, Worthington; Daughter, Kelli (Kyle) Isder, Brewster; son, Benjamin (Bernie), Luverne; and grandchildren, Corben, Annabella, Alenya, and Vanessa.
