PATRICIA SEDLACEK, age 84, of Green Valley, AZ, formerly of Luverne, died Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home. She was born February 5, 1931, in Watertown, SD, to William and Mary (Tracy) Walsh.
Patricia married Edward Sedlacek on April 12, 1950, in Sioux City, IA. After their marriage, the couple lived in Sioux City, IA before moving to Luverne in 1963.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church; the Luverne Eagles Club; the Luverne Legion Auxiliary; and the Luverne VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed baking, cooking, playing bridge and golfing but her two real passions were bowling and being an avid Notre Dame football fan.
Patricia is survived by her three children, Michael (Michelle) Sedlacek, Green Valley, AZ; Tom (Liz) Sedlacek, Seguin, TX; and LeAnn Sedlacek, Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward, in 1997; her daughter, Kimberly, in 1976; and her brother, Bill Walsh, in 2005.
