Rick Elsing

   RICK ELSING, age 65, of Adrian, died Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Sanford Luverne Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1958, in Adrian, to Ken and Kathy (Breuer) Elsing. He graduated from Adrian High School in 1977.
   Rick lived and farmed on the family farm northeast of Adrian until he retired from farming and moved into Adrian. He also worked at JBS and Highland Manufacturing, in Worthington, and Monogram Meats in Chandler. Rick later worked for The Five D’s in Adrian.
   He enjoyed fishing, feeding birds & squirrels, the outdoors, farming, planting flowers, in his garage and especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.
   Rick is survived by his parents, Ken & Kathy Elsing, Adrian; two children, Josh Elsing, Heron Lake; and Aimee (Chris) Desherlia, Horace, ND; grandchild, Freya Elsing; step son, D.J., Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers, Jeff (Sue) Elsing, Phoenix, AZ; and Kevin (Sharon) Elsing, Sioux Falls, SD; and two sisters, Rhonda (Terry) Langland, Worthington; and Kim (Harlan) De Beer, Adrian.
   He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Candice Elsing; paternal grandparents, Henry and Gladys Elsing; and maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Ruth Breuer.

   Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 4-7 pm at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian; visitation also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Funeral will be 10 am Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Adrian, officiated by Pastor Bruce Branson. A private burial will take place at a later date.
