SAVEENA BAPPOO, age 47, of Heron Lake, died Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born September 4, 1973, in Trinidad, to Lalman and Roopwantie (Jaipersad) Singh.
Saveena married Ronald Bappoo on September 17, 2004, in New York. The couple moved to Worthington in 2009. In 2010, they moved to Heron Lake. They owned and operated The Plaza Grill in Heron Lake. She enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. She loved her family and friends. She was well known at The Plaza for her radiate smile and everyone always came to collect hugs from her. She will forever remain in the hearts and minds of many people throughout the community.
Saveena is survived by her husband, Ronald Bappoo, Heron Lake; son, Colin Bappoo, Heron Lake; brother, Jeff (Daphne) Singh, Trinidad; and two sisters, Tara (Bruce) Kraft, Worthington; and Cherry (Hashin) Mangalsingh, Trinidad: and five nieces Trisha Lalmansingh, Trinidad, Tasha Lalmansingh, New York, Angelica Kraft, Brianna Kraft and Kimberly (Christopher) Kraft-Ortiz, Worthington, and two nephews Reynaldo Lalmansingh, Trinidad, Hakeem Mohammed, Trinidad. And Grandchild Jayden Kraft-Ortiz, Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Indar Lalmansingh in 2014.
A memorial service will be at 3 pm Wednesday, with a time of fellowship one hour prior to the service, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington.
