If this is sooner, rather than later, I didn’t win my battle with the “c” word.
I am the oldest of two boys to Raymond and DeVonna Feit, born February 4, 1951 in Adrian, MN. I lived in the same house all 70 years of my life. I should never have gotten lost. I lived here so long, I have remodeled what I have remodeled.
I was preceded in death by my parents, my mother DeVonna, September 1994 and my father, Raymond, April 2001. Survived by 1 brother, Alan (Marilyn), Whitehall, WI.
I crossed the border one too many times and found the LOVE, Joy, and Rock of my life, Karen, in Sioux county, IA. She was a beautician at that time and has been my stylist for over 47 years. We were married December 7, 1974.
I am survived by 5 children (and spouses), 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Kevin (Paula), Highlands Ranch, CO, granddaughters Kailey (Boston, MA) and Kensie (Denver, CO)
Kirk (Traci), Worthington, MN, grandson Brandon (Taylor) and granddaughter Alaina, and 5 great-grandchildren (Morgan, Jace, Camdin, Hayden, & Peyton)
Kyle (Amy), Luverne, MN, granddaughters Brooke (Norwood-Young America, MN) and Regan (Winona State)
Tanissa (Trevor), New Prague, MN, grandson Cayden & granddaughter Teva
Tori (Jesse), Port Orange, FL, granddaughters Addison & Piper
My joys in life have been farming (can’t ever get that out of your blood), traveling with Karen, driving charter bus and spending time at the lake cabin (Lake Sarah, MN). Additionally,I served on many boards including the Nobles County Pork Producers, Worthington Community Education, Reading Community Center, Wilmont Booster club, Worthington Wrestling Club, Trojan Booster Club, and PALS club of Lake Sarah.
I give my love and hugs to all friends and neighbors I have had over the years. I have enjoyed sports over the year, whether participating myself, or watching my children (and even grandchildren) participate. I also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
If I have “only” one fault in my life, it is that I can be a “PITA” – you will have to ask Karen about that one.
Life has been good
Love Tom
P.S. One other enjoyment has been coffee with the Reading Boys. The knowledge I have learned can’t be described.
