I will always remember Aud for her wonderful smile and her joy in greeting you when she saw you. Bill and Aud were friends of my parents, Russell and Jo McClure and I remember always enjoying to go over to their home to visit. Blessed be her memory.

I just learned of Audrey's death and wanted to let her family know that I am thinking of them. Audrey and Bill are my godparents. Shirley and Ben Timmerman are my parents. Although I did not get back to Rock Rapids much, whenever I did I enjoyed stopping to see Audrey when she was in the care center. I looked forward to sending her cards on mother's day as my godmother, particularly after my own mom was gone. In her time, Audrey did beautiful crochet and knitting work. I have a beautiful baby sweater and afghan that she did and she inspired me to learn how to crochet. She will be remembered and missed by me.
