RIP Rory, hope to see you again some day.

Rory and I met in Des Moines in 1977 or so, we worked in a factory there. We stayed in touch over the years after I moved to Montana, I would stop and visit Rory, spend the night and catch up.

You struggled dude, we all do and you stayed your course.

Miss ya and will see you later, some day, some place.

Family,
Seems like just a few years ago we would load up those sleds, pack enough food to feed a army and head to the Black Hills to frolick in the snow! I was saddened to see this posting about Rory. I remember his smile and how he seemed to be in charge of all is us "kids" when we were sledding. God is walkin with you through these shadows. Kristi

Rory was a kind, honest and caring man and very intelligent. Giving support and kindness to others was the way he lived his life daily. He was a good man to talk with about anything, and a good man to know.

I am sorry for your loss. May you each find comfort in your fond memories, and in knowing God "is close to the brokenhearted". (Psalm 34:18)
Our loving Creator has promised that he will soon "swallow up death forever" and
"wipe away the tears from all faces". (Isaiah 25:8)

My time with Rory was only thru Sunday School at the United Methodist Church. Coming in from another church and school, Rory was so very kind to me, quiet and humble, but also made us smile. Attributes that were never forgotten. My sympathy to his family and friends.

Tim, Keely and family,
I was sadden to hear of Rory's passing. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you move through these difficult days.
I have lots of wonderful childhood memories of our families and all the fun we had. From snowmobile trips to Saturday night bonfires we spent many amazing times together as family and friends, those are some of my favorite memories. I trust that some of those memories help lighten your grief. Sending warm thoughts and love. Leslee

I knew Rory only slightly from Terry and Swack, but did spend a little time to get to know him, sorry for your loss. Very intelligent person, that loved to read and be on top of things that interested him. He will be missed.

Hello.. I was a Luverne classmate with Rory. Got to know him through Art Club. Good guy. Caring, kind and gentle. Easy to talk with and loved his family. Thinking of you all.
