GOLDIE MARIE MILLER, age 92, of Worthington, died Sunday, January 19, 2014, at her home. She was born May 16, 1921, in Iowa City, IA, to Luie and Agnes Kinney.
   Goldie married Merle Miller on September 17, 1949, in Iowa City, IA. After their marriage, the couple lived in various cities including Iowa City, IA, Green Bay, WI, and Rock Rapids, IA before moving to Worthington in 1962. Goldie worked for Sunset Tours and Travel Port Tours.
   She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington where she had served as treasurer & circle chairman; 20th Century Club, P.E.O., charter member of the Worthington Hospital Auxiliary; and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed collecting spoons and rocking horses. Goldie and her husband portrayed Santa & Mrs. Claus during Christmas time at the Pioneer Village for many years.
   Goldie is survived by her husband, Merle Miller, Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne; son, Terry (Connie) Miller, Sherman, TX; three grandchildren, Teralee Miller, Ashley West & Aaron West; and a great grandchild, Ariana West.
   She was preceded in death by her parents.
   A memorial service will be 10:30 am Saturday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Bonnie Roys. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial of cremains will be at the Worthington Garden of Memories Cemetery. With lunch to follow.
